Announcing the first international thin shell conference in southern Baja at our site in Todos Santos, Mexico

Date: February 10 11 12 of 2006 when the weather is superior. Temperatures in the mid 70s!

Location: Todos Santos, B.C.S. southern baja 900 miles south of San Diego. Todos has a beautiful 10 square mile oasis backed up by 7000 foot mountains with beautiful beaches to wander upon.  Todos has a tropical climate with Mediterranean desert benefits. The climate is very healthy, essentially no crime and a perfect place for a conference. Surfing is a plus beginner to world-class water is warm in the 80s

Accommodations: check the website for Todos Santos: www.todossantos.com to book. Please try to book ahead as this is the busy time of year with an art festival and reggae festival also at this time. Everything from luxury to camping is available. 500 meters from the site is free camping and camping can be arranged onsite for early comers. Please RSVP for onsite camping. Camping on beach beautiful and safe. We will provide lockup for valuables for beach campers at the site. so you can rest assured. Crime not an issue in Todos. better safe anyway.

Driving: If you are driving, buy insurance at the border to avoid jail if an accident occurs buy for time will be in Mexico. Many drive thrus in San Diego border cross. Pay for you visa 20 dollars or so for entrance and expect to be stopped for revision by the military at least 3 times for easy routine inspection for arms and drugs -  don’t bring any. Spanish is not essential in Baja. Only one road south. Arrive in La Paz follow signs to Todos Santos ...one hour from La Paz. Baja has good roads though narrow.

Bus is 80 dollars from Tijuana

Plane: lands in San Jose del Cabo take taxi to Bus Station and Take the Aguila bus to Todos Santos should cost 6 or so dollars and is Modern, Clean and Very efficient unlike greyhound. It drops you in the park at Todos.  catch blue taxis to accommodations or site call us we can shuttle you also use only 1 612 1340145 for access from pay phone may have to buy phone card at any small store Tarjeta telephono system very easy shows explanations in English for those who need.

Todos has very interesting new and old architecture which we will tour expect to come with light clothing or shorts for day and night with fleece pullover or cardigans mildly cold fireside events. There are no bugs in Todos in the winter bring a tent that zips for the odd one mosquito very rare. Hats are essential only for sunrays as we are on the Tropic of Cancer we use hats.... Otherwise Tropical.. We Begin at 9 am on the tenth and more will follow as folks schedule in.....
